Following the news that the Dunbar Community Energy Company has appealed against East Lothian Council’s decision to refuse permission for their wind turbine on Blackcastle Hill, Dunbar councillor Michael Veitch has written to the Directorate for Planning Appeals making the case for why the Council’s decision should not be over-turned.

Last Thursday (2nd May) East Lothian Council Transport Spokesman, Councillor Michael Veitch, met with Mr Tim Hedley-Jones, Stations and Property Director at East Coast Trains, at Dunbar Station. They discussed a number of issues including service patterns, pedestrian access to the station and car parking.
