Judy grew up in North Berwick, attending both schools. She studied Economics and Law at University and works in financial services.
Judy was elected to North Berwick Community Council in 2017. She served as Treasurer before spending over 4 years as Chairman. Judy is committed to supporting a wide range of activities across the Coastal Ward and is a Trustee of the Coastal Communities Museum and a member of the North Berwick Harbour Trust Association.
Judy enjoys bringing people together and fostering community spirit whenever possible. She has raised tens of thousands of pounds for the North Berwick Christmas Lights Committee and played a significant role in organising the towns celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. In 2020 she helped lead the Community Emergency Resilience Team in response to Covid-19 which saw hundreds of people across North Berwick benefit from vital help during the first lockdown.
