Alex was born in Edinburgh and raised in Dunbar, attending both the town’s Primary and Grammar schools. In Grammar school, Alex achieved both his Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Alex studied an HNC in Social Sciences at Edinburgh College and now studies Politics and International Relations at the University of Aberdeen., returning home to Dunbar during the holidays.
Alex joined the Scottish Conservatives in 2022 and has since become a familiar face in the party. Alex has campaigned across Scotland from Moray to the Scottish Borders.
Alex is currently serving on the national board of the Scottish Young Conservatives. He is passionate about the future of Conservatism in Scotland and is eager to get more young people involved within the party.
