Focusing on the revitalisation of the party under Ruth Davidson's leadership he notes that "Ruth ... is bringing an intellectual vibrancy and positivity to Scots politics unmatched by any of her competitors, including the resident of Bute House [First Minister Nicola Sturgeon]."
Charting the party's progress over the past few decades Deerin outlines that "for the first time in decades it will be worth keeping an election-night eye on Scotland's remade Tories."
