Local MSP recognises Kathryn Smith
Local MSP Craig Hoy has presented Kathryn Smith with a framed parliamentary motion thanking her for her 16 years of service as secretary to North Berwick community council.
The presentation came after a meeting regarding the future of banking services in North Berwick hosted by the community council and Cash Access UK.
Speaking after the meeting, Craig Hoy MSP said: “It was an honour to present Kathryn with a framed motion I lodged in Parliament, which received cross-party support from over 20 MSPs.
“Kathryn served as the secretary to the community council for 16 years. She showed exceptional commitment to the town, and I hope that everyone in North Berwick will share my appreciation for the hard work she did. I wish her all the best for the future.”
Craig Hoy MSP has tabled a number of cross-party motions to Holyrood acknowledging the dedicated efforts of individuals who make a difference across the South Scotland region he represents.
